A graduate of California State University, Chico, with Honors in Economics, Duncan pairs academic analytical rigor with hands-on experience. During his tenure as President of the Associated Students at CSU, Chico, Duncan oversaw the strategic operations of a $22 million nonprofit auxiliary. He successfully advocated for federal funding, spearheaded sustainability initiatives, and implemented structural reforms to improve operational efficiency—all while leading a team of 15 officers to deliver value to the campus community.
Duncan's leadership extends beyond financial strategy. As a Director for the Cal State Student Association, he served on audit and governance committees, honing his expertise in financial oversight and organizational management. His ability to navigate complex systems and build strategic relationships enabled him to form relationships with other investors, lenders, and business owners to connect resources with opportunity.
In addition to his professional experience, Duncan’s entrepreneurial mindset has driven innovative solutions throughout his career. From designing an automated student engagement system at CSU, Chico, to developing detailed financial models in private equity, he has consistently applied creativity and precision to solve complex challenges.
